for·ev·er /fəˈrevər/
Adverb 1. For all future time; for always. 2. A very long time (used hyperbolically).
Love is not supposed to ever end. Real love doesn't. Jesus teaches us all about real love. Forever love. Never-ending love.
When someone hurts us, does that give us the chance to forfeit the love we once proclaimed for them? Can we choose to forget our love for them? Do we want to?
Could forgotten love be remembered again, or is it forever forgotten? Who gets to decide the definitions of "forever" and "love" or of "choose" and "forgive"?
I have felt the pain of rejection. The choice of forgotten love ...forever cut off the remembrance of my relationship with that person. Memories...good and bad...lifetime...chosen to be tossed away.
Is.it.worth.it? I refuse...I choose love. I don't choose to allow others to define anything for me. I will decide which definition I will live by. Jesus is my teacher...in love...in life...in all things.
I choose the love Jesus teaches about. He loved all...enemies and friends. Those who loved him and those who chose not to love him. I.want.that.kind.of.love.
